Jagard is associated with Japan’s Terada factory, as is Thumb. They are nevertheless distinct names on instruments, so we give them separate catalogue pages. JF, JD and CE designations help distinguish guitar families; a factory name alone does not identify a model.
Choosing a Jagard instrument
Check the logo, label and complete model number. Compare body size, neck width and the bridge-to-top joint. Elaborate decoration on a Jagard does not establish all-solid construction.
