Fender Japan began in 1982, the year Fujigen started production for CBS Fender. Japanese ranges included interpretations of classic models as well as distinctive designs such as Boxer basses. Made in Japan and Crafted in Japan markings help identify production periods, while specifications should always be checked for the individual instrument.
