A dreadnought suits a strong accompaniment, while a smaller body may feel more comfortable for gentle playing and fingerstyle. Compare nut width, neck profile and response to your touch. With a used acoustic, check the bridge, soundboard, frets and history of repairs. Consult each instrument’s description for its individual condition and work performed.
