The Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster is an innovative hybrid guitar made in Mexico that combines traditional magnetic tone with advanced emulation of acoustic sounds.

Body and construction

The solid Telecaster-shaped body is made of ash and enhanced with an internal spruce centre block that physically supports the acoustic resonance. The whole is finished in a polyester lacquer in 3-Color Sunburst. A four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard is mounted on the front. The body has been thoroughly cleaned and conditioned in our workshop.

Neck and ergonomics

The maple neck has a modern, comfortable "Modern C" profile. It is paired with a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with light dot markers. The Medium Jumbo frets are in very good condition, showing no deep signs of wear. The nut width is 42 mm.

Sound

The instrument offers a flexible, two-channel sound system based on a piezo pickup and a magnetic single-coil.

• Character: The built-in Fishman Aura system faithfully emulates the natural sound of full-size acoustic guitars, eliminating the sterility of a bare piezo. The Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele pickup, in turn, delivers the classic, strong and bright signal of a traditional Telecaster.
• Dynamics: The concentric pot (Volume/Blend) allows precise, seamless mixing of the acoustic and magnetic signals, giving almost unlimited tone-shaping possibilities.

Additional information

• The instrument comes with a dedicated splitter cable (1x stereo jack to 2x mono jack), allowing the signal to be sent simultaneously to an electric and an acoustic amplifier (or PA system).
• The combination of an ash body with a spruce block is a unique Fender engineering solution created specifically to optimise the response of the piezo pickups.
• The Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele pickup is a top-shelf component fitted as standard to the brand's much more expensive American models.
• The guitar comes with its original Fender tweed hard case shaped for the Telecaster model.

Hardware

• Bridge: Rosewood Acoustic Tele – rosewood construction with string-through-body stringing and a compensated plastic saddle ensuring correct intonation.
• Tuners: Fender vintage-style – traditional sealed machine heads in a sheet-metal housing. The chrome hardware works flawlessly and holds tuning stably.

Condition of the instrument

• Technical condition: The electronics have been thoroughly checked in our workshop, and all circuits (including the Fishman Aura) work noise-free and 100% correctly.
• Cosmetic condition: The instrument is in very good condition, with minimal signs of normal use.
• Setup and modifications: The guitar has had a full professional setup including truss-rod adjustment and precise intonation. The string action has been set at a comfortable 1.6–1.1 mm.
