Cort offers several instrument families, with distinct specifications in the MR and AD acoustic ranges. Codes such as MR730FX and AD800E should be read in full: letters and suffixes help identify the version, finish and electronics. A used example is not automatically a vintage instrument.
Choosing a Cort instrument
Test an electro-acoustic both unplugged and amplified. Check string balance, output socket, preamp and battery compartment. Working electronics do not replace sound acoustic geometry.
