Tokai dates the start of Cat’s Eyes acoustic production to 1975. In the company’s timeline it follows the beginning of its relationship with C.F. Martin, but Cat’s Eyes instruments should not be identified as Martin guitars. Their own codes, including TCM, are the starting point for model identification.
