Fender Jazz Bass JB62-75US is a Japanese instrument from the "Crafted in Japan" period (1999–2002), manufactured at the Dyna Gakki factory. The model is a replica of the 1962 specification. It features a Candy Apple Red finish and a body made of alder. The instrument is factory-equipped with American-made pickups. In our workshop, the bass underwent a full luthier service, including fret dressing and shielding of the electronics with copper foil.

Body and construction The solid body is made of alder. The instrument features a Candy Apple Red lacquer finish. A standard Bolt-on construction is used with a neck pocket routed at the Dyna Gakki factory. In our workshop, the electronics cavities were completely shielded with copper foil. The lacquer coating on the body was polished and protected with wax.
Neck and ergonomics The maple neck features a "Slim C" profile. A 38 mm nut is used, which is a standard dimension for JB models. The rosewood fingerboard was cleaned and conditioned with lemon oil. The Vintage size frets retain about 90% of their original height (0.9 mm) and underwent dressing in our service, which included leveling and polishing.
Sound The instrument is factory-equipped with a set of two Fender USA Vintage Jazz Bass Single-Coil pickups.
Characteristics: The neck pickup exposes the lower frequency range, while the bridge pickup is characterized by a boosted higher mid-range and a distinct attack.
Dynamics: The passive electronics allow mixing the signal from both pickups using two independent Volume potentiometers. The copper shielding isolates the circuit from electromagnetic interference.
